Niobrara County School District will conduct various emergency drills and safety procedures to ensure that everyone is prepared in the event of an actual emergency throughout the school year. These drills will include, but are not limited to, fire drills, lockdown drills, stay put, and other safety protocols as determined by the district.
Additionally, our school partners with local law enforcement to conduct periodic safety measures, including the use of a drug dog on campus. These proactive efforts are part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students.
Please note that while we take these safety measures seriously, the school district will not provide prior notice or alert parents and the community each time a drill, safety protocol, or drug dog search takes place. These procedures are standard practice and are conducted to reinforce safety preparedness and maintain the integrity of our protocols.
We appreciate your support in promoting a safe school environment. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our safety procedures, please feel free to contact Niobrara County School District.
Thanks, NCSD #1
