
Our Special Olympics tracklete's participated in state games today! We gained a lot of medals today! Isaac: 1st in the 50 meter assisted walk and 5th in the softball throw!
Marcus: 3rd in 200 meter dash and 5th in the softball throw
Zeke: 1st in 50 meter dash and 3rd in softball throw
Levi: 2nd in 50 meter dash and 5th in the softball throw

Don't forget that the 2024 Duck Race will be Wednesday, May 8th at 2pm! NCHS Student Council Members will be at LEMS this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 3:00pm to sell ducks. Thank you!


Niobrara has been well represented this week. This great group of students went to Casper to compete in various trades competition such as welding, job interview, medical terminology and medical math. They all did a great job and learned A TON! Hattie Nelson and Christina Munoz were BOTH elected as state officers to represent Wyoming SkillsUSA. GREAT JOB!




A HUGE Thank You to our community for supporting our Book Blast! This was a big success at getting books into every student's home library. Thank you!


FBLA organized and hosted the CTE/Fine Art Showcase on Wednesday, April 17th, and it was a resounding success! Over 100 community members participated, joining guided tours led by FBLA members. These tours provided an opportunity for attendees to explore and admire the diverse projects underway in NCHS's Career Technical Education (CTE), Fine Arts, and Physical Education classes. The evening was filled with excitement and engagement as guests immersed themselves in the creative and innovative works on display. To cap off the event, everyone enjoyed delicious tacos and churros, adding a festive touch to an already memorable occasion.








Lusk Middle School 8th Graders will be taking a trip to Evan's Plunge on May 22nd. We will return to the school by 3:30 so students have the ability to ride the bus home! Admission and lunch will be provided

Prom 2024 "Midnight Masquerade" on April 20th

NCHS Dress Closet is open!!! If you don’t want to spend the money on shopping for a prom dress this year, we can hook you up!!! We’ve got lots of dresses for prom, graduation, or homecoming!! We’ve got lots of styles, colors, and sizes!!! MS Semi Formal is also the week after prom....we have some dresses available that would work for that too! Available to you to use and return at no charge! Contact Mrs. Reed, Mrs. Lyons, or Mrs. Pontarolo at the school if you’re interested!!


Mr. Lyons's Entrepreneur Class started a business venture named O So Fresh. These 6 students have manufactured and are currently selling air fresheners for cars, sneakers, and any other purposes. You can scan the QR code on the flyer or purchase them from any of the 6 students or Mr. Lyons. They may be picked up at the high school from Mr. Lyons. Samples can be found at the O So Fresh display by the high school office.



Recently, NCHS FBLA took part in the State FBLA conference, participating in various competitions including projects, presentations, case studies, and testing alongside 585 FBLA members statewide. As a result, the club successfully advanced 21 students to represent them at the upcoming National FBLA competition in Orlando, FL.
To support their endeavors, FBLA members will be organizing several fundraising events over the next few months. You're cordially invited to join FBLA and NCHS at the Career Technical and Fine Arts Showcase Night scheduled for April 17th from 5:30 to 7:30. Tickets for this event are currently being sold by FBLA members, or they can be purchased at the door.
